About the Kiwanis River Run
The course runs along the San Joaquin River on an off-road trail, shaded by trees with birds and the river alongside for most of the route. The start and finish sit in a park-like setting right on the water, directly below Valley Children's Hospital. Several distance options mean you can choose how far you go, from a short kids' run up to the longest trail loop.
Packet pickup the evening before is at a Fleet Feet location in Fresno. Race-morning check-in opens early, with the assembly area at the back of the property near the start line. Parking is free and close to the event, and the shaded setting makes it worth arriving early to settle in before the gun.
