About the Frida Fun Run
The course runs through the Fresno City College campus, a tree-lined setting with historic buildings and open green spaces in the heart of the city. The route is compact enough that spectators can find a good spot and actually see runners pass more than once. The race raises scholarship funds for local students, organized by a Fresno-based women's group with deep roots in the community.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a nearby shopping center, which keeps race-morning lines short. Race-day pickup opens early at the campus veterans memorial, near the main check-in area. Parking and the start area are both on campus, with an awards ceremony and raffle drawing wrapping up the morning once the last runners are in.
