About the King & Spalding's 2026 West U Halloween Dash and Kids' Fun Run
The course winds through the residential streets of West University Place, a neighborhood full of tree cover that keeps things shaded even on a warm fall morning. The route has very few turns, so you can find a rhythm and hold it. Costumes are common, and there is a separate wave for strollers and dogs.
Parking in the neighborhood is tight, and the organizers are direct about it: walk or bike if you can. If you drive, read the street signs carefully, because local police do patrol during the race.
