About the Kentlands/Lakelands 5K Run/Walk
The course winds through two adjacent residential neighborhoods before turning onto Main Street for the finish. Local bands set up along the route, so there is live music at points while you run, not just at the start or end. Post-race, a merchant expo fills the finish area, and the event wraps with an awards ceremony that includes team and family categories.
Packet pickup runs on the two evenings before the race at Main Street Park and Pavilion, with race-morning pickup available at the expo area on Main Street. Parking is in the lots near the Market Square area, including spaces at a mattress store and a grocery store within a short walk of registration.
