About the Kenosha Mayor's Turkey Day Run 10K & 2 Mile Run/Walk
The course runs on city streets and along a lakefront bike path, passing between a pair of museums and the grounds of a college. It is a point-to-point style route that stays close to the water, so the surroundings are open and the footing is paved throughout. A few aid stations are spaced across the course, and mile markers keep you oriented the whole way.
Packet pickup is held the afternoon and evening before the race at the Kenosha Public Museum, and there is no race-morning registration option, so getting your bib the day before is the only way to go. A short kids dash for the youngest runners takes place alongside the main event. There is a light post-race spread after you finish.
