About the Justice for Sierah Color Run 2026
The course runs through a university campus in Toledo, with participants moving past academic buildings and open grounds while volunteers throw color along the route. It is not timed, so there is no pressure to race. The event honors a former student whose death led to meaningful changes in state law around violent offender registries.
The race is rooted in a specific mission. The organization behind it runs self-defense programs for children and has worked to pass legislation protecting communities. Running or walking here puts you alongside people who are there for a reason beyond finishing time.
