About the Just Us Girls 5K
This breast cancer fundraiser runs through Manasquan, starting and finishing at the Elks Lodge on Stockton Lake Boulevard. Mother and daughter teams run it together, crossing the finish side by side, which shapes the feel of the whole morning. Trophies go to the top female finishers in each age group, and men are welcome on the course as well.
Packet pickup happens the evening before the race at the Elks Lodge, with food and drinks available that night. After the race, there is a buffet and celebration back at the same lodge. The organization behind the race directs its proceeds toward financial awards and scholarships for people in the area affected by breast cancer.
