About the JPJ Memorial 1-mile Turkey Trot
The course runs through Moncus Park on Thanksgiving morning, a short loop that works for strollers and every pace. It is a memorial race, held in honor of JeanPaul Judice, and proceeds benefit a local diner that has long served people facing hunger. Prizes go to the top finishers in each gender.
Strollers are welcome, though the organizers ask that they line up at the back for safety. Beyond that, the start area is inside the park, which makes for an easy gathering spot before everyone heads home to eat.
