About the Jordan DeMay 5k/10k run/walk starts
The course runs out and back along a bike path, heading north from a YMCA parking lot toward Presque Isle Park. It is road running on a paved path, so the footing is straightforward the whole way. The route feels open, with the park pulling you forward on the way out and the parking lot finish waiting on the way back.
Packet pickup is the evening before the race at Queen City Running Co, which keeps the start area moving. The organizers recommend picking up then rather than the morning of the race.
