About the Queen City Trick or Trot 10K/5K Run/Walk and Kids Monster Mile
The course starts on Washington Street in downtown Marquette, then heads toward the waterfront and onto a bike path running south. The longer distance goes farther down the path toward Harvey before doubling back, while the shorter option turns around before the Carp River Bridge. Both finish on the bike path near the water. Halloween costumes are part of the deal, and there is a costume contest at the end.
Packet pickup runs across the few days before the race at Queen City Running Company, with a same-morning window that closes before the start. Age group awards are handed out near the timing booth, and overall winners in both distances earn a free pair of shoes from the same local shop. There is no post-race party, but the costume contest gives people a reason to linger.
