About the Johns Hopkins Children's Center Miracles in Motion
The course runs through the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, so you are weaving past animal exhibits and zoo paths rather than streets. The terrain is mixed, the organizer recommends a jogging stroller if you are pushing one, which tells you the surface changes underfoot. A kids dash follows the main race, and zoo animals make appearances afterward near the finish area.
Packet pickup is offered at several spots in the days before, including the Johns Hopkins Children's Center itself and a couple of local running and fitness shops, or you can pick up race morning at the zoo. Same-day registration is available. The event village opens before the start, and post-race activities stretch well into the morning.

The Johns Hopkins Children's Center Miracles in Motion has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
