About the John Wesley Holt Legacy Race
The course starts and finishes at a private Episcopal school in Mobile, with both a distance run and a shorter fun run on the same route. The race honors a former student who passed away, and the entry fees support a scholarship awarded annually in his name to a graduating senior from the school.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at the school's student services office, with race-morning registration also available. After the distance run, there are age group awards and light refreshments on site. The surrounding event includes inflatables, face painting, and food trucks, so families tend to linger well past the finish.
