About the Jersey City 5k & 10k
The course runs along the Jersey City waterfront, starting and finishing at Exchange Place on fully closed roads. It is flat throughout, with the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River visible for most of the route. The road closure keeps the surface clean and the path predictable, which makes it a reasonable choice for anyone chasing a fast time on a city course.
Packet pickup and start-area details were not something shared here, but the Exchange Place area is well served by transit from several directions, which matters if you are coming in without a car.
