The course runs along the roads of Conanicut Island, with open views across Narragansett Bay and toward a large suspension bridge on the horizon. It passes through a working historic farm and winds back into the village center, where small shops and restaurants line the street. The terrain is rolling island roads, and the water is rarely out of sight for long.
