About the 2026 Inlet Walk for Brain Cancer Research
The Inlet Walk for Brain Cancer Research starts at a beach path in Avalon and follows a route toward the inlet, honoring three men lost to glioblastoma. The walk is organized by their families and raises money for brain cancer research at a children's hospital. The pace is yours to set, and joining for part of the route is welcome.
After the walk, families and friends gather at the Windrift, a local spot near the far end of the route, for a post-walk social. It is a time to toast the men being remembered and connect with others who knew them or simply showed up to support the cause.
