About the Inaugural Momentum 2-Miler
This is an untimed fun run tied to a STEM professionals' conference. The route is short, designed for running or walking, and entry fees support a scholarship fund for Black scientists, engineers, and innovators. The crowd is conference attendees and community members rather than a typical race field.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Billy Penn Studios, with a race-morning option available for those not attending the conference. The start area opens early for a welcome before the run gets underway, and an awards ceremony follows shortly after the finish.
