About the Iggy's "4 on the Fourth" Freedom Run

The race runs through a quiet, tree-lined residential stretch of southeast Ocala, starting and finishing at Veterans Memorial Park. The neighborhood streets are shaded and the course stays on road the whole way. Results and awards come quickly after the last finisher is in, so there is not much waiting around.

Parking sits in the public library lot right next to the park, which makes the start area easy to find and easy to leave. Packet pickup runs the morning of the race, closing just before the gun. Dogs are welcome to watch from the sidelines but cannot run the course.
