About the I Heart Biddeford 5K
This is a Halloween-themed road race through Biddeford, and costumes are a genuine part of the morning, not an afterthought. The course draws a mix of people actually pushing their pace and others who showed up in full spooky regalia, so the atmosphere on the road is pretty lively. Proceeds go to a local Main Street organization focused on downtown Biddeford.
There is a separate kids' dash on the same morning, free to enter, which makes the start area feel more like a neighborhood event than a straight-up race morning. If you are bringing family, it is worth knowing the little ones have their own moment before the main field heads out.
