About the "I'd Rather Be Indoors" 5k
The course runs on the Mt. Hope High School cross country trail, which is off-road and mostly flat. It starts and finishes at Bristol Town Beach, so you get a waterfront setting without much climbing to worry about. The terrain is natural surface rather than pavement, which gives it a different feel from a typical road 5k.
Bib pickup is at the beach before the start, so you can arrive, get your number, and stay put. The race benefits the high school's indoor track program, and the entry fee goes directly to that.
