About the Huntsville Half Marathon
The course runs through South Huntsville on roads that stay mostly flat the whole way. It opens with a short neighborhood loop back to the church, then stretches out through the southeast part of the city and picks up a stretch of the Aldridge Creek Greenway before turning back. Aid stations are spaced out well, stocked with water, Powerade, Gu, and bananas.
Packet pickup runs the day before at Fleet Feet Huntsville, with a backup window on race morning at the church. Parking at the start is limited, so carpooling is worth planning ahead. Early fall weather here can swing anywhere from warm and sunny to cold and wet, so dress in layers you can shed.

The Huntsville Half Marathon has been held every year since at least 2016. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
