About the Howl-O-Ween 5k
This is a Halloween costume run that welcomes dogs on the course alongside their owners. The route is a 5K, and the atmosphere leans heavily toward the costumed and the canine. There is a costume contest, a photo booth, and treats for dogs at the event. Age group awards go to runners as well.
The race benefits a student business organization and local animal shelters, so the entry fee goes somewhere tangible. Bring a leash and a costume, for yourself and ideally for your dog too.
