About the Houston Resolution Run
The course runs along Texas Avenue and Memorial Drive out and back on a flat stretch of road through downtown. Shorter distance runners turn around earlier; those doing the longer option loop the whole stretch again. The route is open and exposed, with the city skyline visible as you head west.
Street parking downtown is free on race weekends, and paid garages are nearby if you need them. Packet pickup happens at a Sun & Ski Sports location on Westheimer in the days before the race, with a shorter window at Fish Plaza on race morning.

The Houston Resolution Run has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
