About the Hope & Honor 5K
The course runs through Lakes Regional Park, a green, lake-edged space in Fort Myers. The terrain is park paths, flat and smooth, with water nearby for most of the route. The race is tied to Hope Healthcare's hospice and palliative care mission, so the crowd tends to include families and caregivers alongside runners, and the atmosphere reflects that.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at Fleet Feet Fort Myers, which gives you a chance to sort your bib without a morning rush. Parking at the park is paid and on-site. Post-race, there are vendor booths and an awards ceremony covering overall and age group places, chip-timed throughout.
