About the Holy Angels David Rice Memorial Angel Run & Walk 5K & 10K
The race starts and finishes on the Holy Angels campus and winds through the Long Lake subdivision nearby. The route is a neighborhood run, and the out-and-back through a residential area keeps things straightforward. After the race, music, local vendors, and activities fill the campus grounds. The event benefits Holy Angels, a nonprofit serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Packet pickup happens at a local running store on Fern Avenue the couple of days before the race. Race-morning registration opens early at the Holy Angels campus itself, closing shortly before the start. Spirit prizes, including one for the best handmade angel wings, give teams a reason to come dressed for the occasion.
