About the Holloman Ace of Races Marathon
The course runs along the flight line at an Air Force base, with the Sacramento Mountains on one side and a national park known for its white sand dunes visible on the other. The road is paved and essentially flat the whole way. Near the end, you pass through a display of static aircraft and military equipment before turning onto the finish stretch.
The base is open to the public for the race, but non-military cardholders can only enter during a specific morning window, so arriving well before your start is important. Free parking is available at the fitness center close to the start line, with overflow parking a short walk away. Non-participant spectators must arrive in the same vehicle as their runner.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Holloman Ace of Races Marathon has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
