About the HMHB Push It 5K
The course winds through Okeeheelee Park, a large county park on the western edge of the city. The terrain is flat and paved, with shade trees along stretches of the route. The race benefits a maternal and infant health organization that has served the area for decades, so the crowd around the finish tends to reflect that mission.
Post-race, there are snacks and an awards ceremony in the park. Age-group awards are presented, so if you place in your bracket you will hear your name called.
