The course runs through Hixon Forest on rugged singletrack, climbing and descending the bluffs above the Mississippi River Valley. Several distance options make the event accessible to newer trail runners, while the longest route is a genuine ultra with enough elevation to keep things honest. The views from the bluffs are real, not incidental.
