About the Heroes and Villains Half Marathon- Oklahoma City
The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon at Draper Park leans into its costume theme hard. Runners show up dressed as heroes and villains, and the costume contest before the start sets the tone for the whole morning. The course serves several distances, from a short kids dash up through the half marathon, so the start area tends to be a busy, colorful mix of people warming up in capes.
Packet pickup runs the morning of the race, closing before the gun goes off. The post-race area centers on a Rally Tent with snacks and a live DJ, and the awards ceremony follows shortly after finishers come through. Bigfoot trophies go to overall winners, with pins for age group placers.
