The course runs through Brazos River Park, so there is green space around you for most of the route. The race leans hard into its superhero and villain theme, and a good portion of the field shows up in costume. A costume contest happens just before the start, with prize packs for the best looks. The post-race area has a DJ, snacks, and an awards ceremony.
