About the Giving Thanks 5K/10K/Kids'K
The course runs through Brazos River Park, following a fast route along the park grounds. The terrain is the kind you find along a river corridor: open and mostly level, with enough space that the field spreads out early. The race supports Bel Inizio, an organization focused on helping women who are working to build confidence and set personal goals.
The start is at Brazos River Park, just off the freeway, so highway access is straightforward and the park has open grounds around the start area.
