About the Harvest Trot 5K Walk/Run
The Harvest Trot is free to enter, but the entry fee is nonperishable food. You bring it the morning of the race, and it goes to local school pantries. The course is in a park, and dogs are not permitted unless they are service animals. Resource tables from health and community organizations are set up nearby, so the finish area has a bit going on beyond just the race itself.
Packet pickup happens race morning, so there is no separate trip the day before. Plan to arrive a little early to get sorted before the start.
