About the Harborside Half Marathon & 5K
The course runs along the waterfront in Newburyport, passing harbor views and coastal scenery. It has the feel of a fall race built around the water, with the kind of surroundings that make the miles go by a little easier. Both the half marathon and the shorter option share that same setting, so the landscape carries you regardless of which distance you choose.
Pizza, snacks, and craft beer are waiting at the finish line, which gives the post-race stretch a genuine reason to linger.

The Harborside Half Marathon & 5K has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
