About the GNOCA 5K RUN/WALK IN HONOR OF JACKIE POOR AND PAULA HOLM
The course runs through Newburyport and starts and finishes at Michael's Harborside, right on the water. The race benefits GNOCA, which supports women with ovarian cancer and their families, so the crowd tends to reflect that purpose: people who know each other and know why they are there.
Packet pickup is available the day before at a local running store on Water Street, or on race morning at the start. Parking is free at Michael's Harborside. Awards are presented shortly after the last runners finish, so there is reason to stick around.
