About the Halloween Fun Run 5k & 1mile - Zombie Theme
The route runs through a cemetery, which sets the mood pretty quickly. It is a trail course, so expect uneven ground underfoot rather than pavement. Colored flags and course marshals keep you on track. Costumes are a big part of the morning, and prizes go to the best-dressed as well as the fastest.
Packet pickup happens at the start location on race morning, so there is no separate trip the night before. Parking is in the public lot near an elementary school right at the address, and volunteers there point you toward check-in. Bathrooms are available inside a nearby rafting outfitter that has offered up their facilities for the event.
