About the Halloween 5K and Monster Mile

The Halloween 5K and Monster Mile runs along Mine Road in Stafford, with a path beside the course where parents can stay close to younger runners doing the shorter distance. Costumes are encouraged, and there is a contest with prizes for the best ones. The race benefits Project Lifesaver, a search and rescue program for individuals prone to wandering.

Packet pickup opens early on race morning. Registration is online only, and if something comes up, the organizers ask that you send someone else to collect your packet rather than request a transfer or refund. Strollers are welcome in the longer distance, though they ask those participants to line up toward the back. Pets are not allowed at this event.
