About the Halloween 5K and Fun Walk
The course runs out and back along Little Pine Creek Road, with a gentle rise on the way out and the same ground returning underfoot. It is a road race, not a trail, and the grade is mild enough that walkers do the same route on a slightly shorter version. Costumes are encouraged, which gives the field a different look than most fall road races.
Packet pickup and walk-in registration both open race morning. The start area is where everything happens, so arriving a bit early gives you time to sort out registration without rushing.
