About the Run Santa Run 5K - North Park
The course runs through North Park, and the whole field shows up dressed for it, Santa suits and elf ears as far back as you can see. It is a costume run as much as a footrace, and the park setting gives it room to spread out. There is a charity toy drive at the start, so many people arrive carrying something to donate.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a local running and cycling shop near the park. On race morning, pickup opens at the park before the road closes. Parking and restrooms are toward the rear of the park, a good distance from the entrance, so build in time to get settled before the start.
