About the 6th Annual Half CRAZY Half Marathon and 5K
The course starts beneath a well-known neon sign in downtown Mineral Wells and winds through the city before heading into the surrounding hills. The half marathon climbs enough that the hills are a real part of the race, not an afterthought. On the way back in, there is a long look at the Baker Hotel. The route shares roads with traffic, so expect open streets.
Packet pickup the evening before is at a wine bar right in the heart of downtown, which is also where the race begins. Race-morning pickup opens early at the staging area in Poston Square. The race benefits United Way of Palo Pinto County, and Whataburger provides food and drinks at the finish.
