About the Greater Helotes Little League 5K
The course starts and finishes inside a minor league baseball stadium, which gives the race an unusual feel. You run out through the gates, loop the surrounding area, and come back in. The stadium setting means a real finish-line atmosphere, with the concourse and field visible as you close out the final stretch.
Post-race, there are refreshments and music back at the stadium. Awards go to overall and age group winners, and results are chip-timed. The fundraising purpose is local youth baseball, so the crowd skews toward families with kids in the stands.
