About the Grace Race
The course runs flat through Charles Park and along Versailles Boulevard, so there is not much in the way of elevation to contend with. Several distance options mean the same route serves everyone from serious runners to people out for a short morning walk. The surroundings are open and easy to navigate, and the whole thing is tied to a local school.
Packet pickup happens the evening before in the school gym, which also serves as the staging area off Calais Circle and Versailles Boulevard. After the race, the gym stays open with a carnival for kids and jambalaya from the concessions, so there is reason to linger well past the finish.
