About the GNSO Thanksgiving 5K Race
The course runs on a track near Massie Road, which keeps things simple and easy to navigate. It is a fundraiser tied to a university program, so the crowd skews toward students, faculty, and supporters rather than the usual road-race mix. Awards go to the fastest in-person finishers, and hot chocolate and doughnuts are at the finish.
There is both an in-person option and a virtual option if you cannot make the morning. Pickup for those who ordered through registration is available at McLeod Hall on a couple of weekday mornings after race day, which is handy if you need to stop by later. The start area is on campus, close to Massie Road.
