About the 45th Annual Boar's Head Turkey Trot 5K

The course starts and finishes at Boar's Head Resort, winding out through the surrounding neighborhoods. Do not let the road race label fool you: this is a genuinely hilly route, and the terrain will find your legs. The race raises money for UVA Health Children's, and the morning also features a short dash for young kids on the grass near the finish line.

Packet pickup happens on a few separate days before the race, including an evening option at Three Notch'd Brewing Company, where runners get a discount on food and drinks. Parking at the resort is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Water is at the finish line, and there is a post-race social with a beverage tent that checks ID.
