About the Arc of the Piedmont Santa Fun Run/Walk
The route covers the Downtown Mall, Charlottesville's pedestrian-centered main street, and starts and finishes at Ting Pavilion. It is a short, flat course through a familiar stretch of the city, and the whole thing wraps up before the Grand Illumination festivities begin nearby.
Packet pickup opens early at a local brewery the evening before the race, where food and drinks are available and a portion of purchases goes to the Arc of the Piedmont. Race-morning check-in and day-of registration happen at Ting Pavilion, and there is a brief warm-up before the start.
