About the Give Life NY 5K Run/Walk

This race is built around organ donation awareness, and the people who put it together are themselves living donors. The course runs through Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. The field tends to draw people connected to the cause alongside runners who simply found the race, so the start area has a particular weight to it that most local road races do not.

Bib pickup is spread across the days leading up to the race at a couple of running stores in the area, which keeps race-morning check-in short. On race day itself, pickup opens at the Fieldhouse at Eisenhower Park before the start. You can collect bibs for others in your group when you go.
