The course runs through a private farm property, so the surroundings feel genuinely removed from the road. Expect natural trail footing through wooded and open sections across a spread of land that does not see public foot traffic the rest of the year. The terrain rolls, and the surface underfoot changes as you go. Live music plays at the finish area, and there are hot dogs and refreshments afterward.
