About the Fox 8 Fox Trot

The course runs inside the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, starting and finishing near the entrance plaza. It is an unusual setting for a race, with animals and exhibits around the route rather than streets or a park path. The event benefits a charity, and Fox 8 TV personalities are on hand during the morning.

Pre-race packet pickup happens at several locations in the days before, including a beach house and a couple of sporting goods stores around the area. On race morning, pickup opens at the zoo's ticket plaza a couple of hours before the start, so you can arrive, get your bib, and have time to settle in.
