About the 14th Annual Florence Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk

The course winds through residential neighborhoods, so expect tree-lined streets and a fairly flat route with the feel of a neighborhood run rather than a park loop. A kids dash runs alongside the main event, and costumes are encouraged across both, which gives the start area a carnival-like energy on a holiday morning.

Packet pickup happens race morning near the start line, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. Parking is in the elementary school lot where the race is based, and restrooms are set up close to the start.
