About the Downtown Florence Reindeer Dash 5K
The course runs through downtown Florence, starting and finishing at a plaza on Dargan Street. The surrounding streets are urban and flat, with storefronts and city blocks for scenery. The whole thing leans into the holiday theme: costumes are common, prizes go to the best-dressed individual and group, and there is a pre-race DJ to keep things moving before the gun.
Packet pickup is on race morning only, at the same plaza where the race starts. Parking is free in several nearby city garages and lots, all within a short walk. Hot cocoa is waiting at the finish.
