About the First Priority Decatur 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run
The race starts and finishes at a Baptist church on the southwest side of Decatur, with volunteers posted at every turn along the route. It supports a local campus ministry serving students across several nearby counties, so the crowd skews toward families and church community members rather than a racing crowd.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at the same church where you will start. Bibs and sponsor items are available then, which makes race morning considerably smoother.
