About the CARNIVAL FROLIC 13.1 AND 5K
The half marathon and 5K both follow the same certified course, winding through Decatur's historic districts, then down to the Tennessee River and out into Point Mallard Park. A relay option lets teams divide the half marathon distance among several runners, which brings a different kind of energy to the start line.
Packet pickup and late registration both happen at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center, the evening before and again on race morning. The post-race celebration is there too, with beignets, red beans and rice, and a complimentary mimosa or beer waiting at the finish.
